Worried that you’re going to experience a disconnect?
Want to make sure you have continuous access to electricity?
Capstone may be able to assist with electric disconnect notices, restore power, or assist with deposits for service. From local utility provider programs to state assistance programs, like Vermont Emergency Rental Assistance Program (VERAP), we will align you with the support that works best for your individual situation.
We will also connect you with programs at your utility provider. For example, if you’re a Green Mountain Power customer, there are several assistance programs available. Green Mountain Power customers can access Power Partners or the GMP Energy Assistance Program.
Who is eligible?
As with fuel, many programs are for households up to 150-200% of the federal poverty level, or higher if we utilize donated funds. The best way to find out if you qualify is to call your local Capstone office.
