Gopher (aka Community Rides) is a new non-profit transportation service operating mainly in Washington County and neighboring towns in Orange County. Gopher’s trained drivers provide Vermonters with subsidized and market-rate door-to-door rides to and from work, appointments, errands, social and recreational activities in a fleet of zero emissions electric SUVs. Rides to recovery services, counseling, medical appointments, or job training, interviews or commutes!
Green Mountain Transit (GMT)
Discounted fare available to those six to 17, seniors age 60 and over and passengers with disabilities. One child five years and under rides free when accompanied by a fare paying adult.
Tri Valley Transit: Dial a Ride
Dial-A-Ride services include programs that focus on elders, persons with disabilities, and low-income families and individuals. Depending on eligibility, Dial-A-Ride may be free or subsidized. Rides are typically provided by volunteer drivers or our wheelchair accessible buses when necessary.
