Data Coordinator, Head Start - Barre
Position: Capstone’s Head Start program is currently seeking a Data Coordinator to join the Head Start team July 15, 2025. The Head Start Data Coordinator supports the Data Specialist in maintaining the accuracy of databases and keeping the documentation current. Additional objectives include increasing community awareness and engagement in the program through ongoing marketing, social media and internal/external communication efforts. This role provides ongoing training for staff and leadership.
Qualifications: The required minimum qualifications include an Associate’s degree in computer science, marketing, and/or human services or equivalent experience. 1-2 years’ experience working in human or community-based services or related programs with demonstrated competence in working with low-income people. Experience in training individuals and training in group settings. Prior Head Start experience and familiarity with philosophy and goals, and familiarity with ERSEA is preferred.

- Ability to convey ideas and information clearly through written reports and communication, presentations, or interpersonal interactions, adapting and adjusting communication as appropriate for the situation.
- Ability to evaluate information, assess validity, and make informed decisions/recommendations based on evidence and reasoning.
- Ability to follow instructions, protocols, rules and policies, and to use available tools and resources to find needed information.
- Ability to organize, support, and/or manage tasks and projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met in an organized timeline while maintaining quality standards and documentation.
- Ability to utilize a computer and/or electronic device to effectively communicate and document information based in established practices.
Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, regular position and offers a competitive annual salary of $52,000 - $55,978.
