Brook Street High School Art Show for 2026

Please join us for the Brook Street High School Art Show on Thursday, November 12th from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Teen Room of the Aldrich Library in Barre.

Students at Brook Street High School will be exhibiting their artwork in the Teen Room of the Aldrich Public Library. During a 10-day residency with local artist Pam Wilson, students explored tapestry and weaving. They learned multiple techinques for creating designs and patterns and used frame looms to create their own unique wall hangings. At the show, students will share their creative process and demonstrate weaving techniques.

The Brook Street High School Artist-in-Schools residency is funded by the Vermont Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Capstone Community Action's Head Start program.
