Capstone is pleased to announce the hire of Will Eberle as the Director of Weatherization and Climate Impact. Will Eberle, Director of Weatherization and Climate Impact

“In a world with so many large-scale looming stresses that feel out of the average person’s control – war, flooding and other extreme weather events, rising cost of living, etc - Vermonters are hungry for tangible opportunities to make things better for their families and communities. The services and support offered through Capstone’s Weatherization and Climate Impact programs help people make their homes more comfortable, and more affordable while contributing to helping change the course on climate change. I am humbled and grateful to have the opportunity to lead the compassionate and highly skilled WXCI team that helps people implement these solutions every day, regardless of means.” - Will Eberle, Director of Weatherization and Climate Impact

Eberle brings nearly two decades of Executive Leadership experience across Vermont's human services sector and rich direct service and outreach experience helping Vermonters rise out of poverty and overcome mental health and substance use challenges, homelessness, complex trauma, and related structural barriers. He has also worked as a builder and mentor of at-risk youth in the construction trades. His skills, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit will help extend the scope and impact of Capstone’s ability to meet the needs of those it serves with dignity.

Capstone also recognizes the month of October as Energy Awareness Month as designated by the National Community Action Partnership. Capstone is one of more than 500 community action agencies that operate a Weatherization Assistance Program to help reduce energy burdens for families, provides health and safety benefits, and creates jobs in our community.
